Robin Hood

A simple thief or the people’s hero?

This summer the Sherwood Forest is situated in Husby, Stockholm where Robin and his gang of outlaws are fighting the Sheriff of Nottingham and his men. The king of England is on a crusade and meanwhile the country is reined by the evil prince John. With assistant of the Sheriff of Nottingham he is haunting the people with new taxes. The people are starving. But in the Sherwood Forest, Robin and his gang are creating justice on their own: they take from the rich and give to the poor.

The play is staged on three different locations. The audience get to follow Robin and his gang when they run away from the Sheriff of Nottingham to their hide-out in the Sherwood Forest and then back to Nottingham for the closing arch competition.

Robin Hood will be performed 6-10 and 13-17 of July at 17 at Husbygård, Stockholm.

Running time is approximately 60 minutes.

The show is a collaboration between Mittiprickteatern and Parkteatern.
