War, what if it were here

Europe is falling apart. EU has disentegrated and Sweden is governed by a dictator who wants to create a Great Scandinavia by subsuming, Norway, Denmark and Finland. As the war lingers on, we follow a family who decides to flee to Egypt. There, in the closest democratic country, they receive asylum and struggle to build a new life in a different society far away from home. Where ever home is?

The play is based on the award-winning novel by Janne Teller. It opened in the autumn of 2013 and after over 150 performances it is still touring around Sweden.
